BASIC PURPOSE: The Manager is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, and managing resources for the Women’s Center and The Regional Mobile Mammography Program at The Jewish Hospital-Mercy Health. These responsibilities include fiscal responsibility, management of staff, management of all professional, regulatory, and accreditation standards, business development, and maintaining positive working relationships with staff, physicians and other hospital departments and managers. The Manager is accountable for continuous personal growth and development as well as encouraging and/or providing opportunities for staff to gain skills. The Manager demonstrates interpersonal skills, computer literacy, acuity knowledge, problem identification and resolution abilities and interacts with others consistent with the Core Values of the Mercy Health (MH). The Manager demonstrates effective communication upward, downward, and laterally. Determines program needs to ensure optimum service of department and technical staff. Resolves both intra and inter departmental problems and complaints Collaborates with the Medical Director of Radiology and Director of Imaging.
EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED AND/OR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Graduate of an approved school of radiology technology.
Experience: Experience performing Mammography or other breast imaging procedures; knowledge of MQSA & FDA/ACR regulations in Mammography.
License/Registration: Registered with ARRT in mammography. Licensed by the State of Ohio
Minimum of five years experience in a supervisory role and 8 years clinical experience. CPR certification.
This position is located at our outpatient Women's Center in Kenwood.
