Requisition R029742 Market Lorain, OH Department Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Lorain Shift Afternoons/Nights Schedule Part-time

16 bed medical/surgical ICU and 8 bed Level III Trauma unit.

Provides direct critical care nursing, monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.  Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care, serves to coordinate all disciplines of patient care, administers medications and treatments, assesses educational needs and coordinates discharge planning with appropriate members of the healthcare team.

Provides care to thoracic, vascular, Neuro, and general surgery patients, Critically ill medical patients and level III trauma patients.

Current state licensure as an RN required, current BLS, ACLS within 6 months of hire, TCAR within one year of hire.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Must be able to function in a stressful environment and act appropriately.

Minimum of one year current acute care RN experience.
